Why should I fell discouraged ,
Why should the shadows come ,
Why should my heart be lonely ,
And long for heav’n and home ,
When Jesus is my portion ?
My constant friend is He ,

為何心靈覺孤單？甚至欲脫塵寰？
耶穌是我的良友，萬福賜我享受，
祂既看顧小麻雀，深知我必蒙眷佑，
